The simplest and quickest way to get started is in affiliate marketing. No need for a website, just start promoting a product you like. You can use many methods to promote a product. There is search advertising, using email campaigns which can be a good way if you got a good list of followers. Twitter can be a good advertising medium to promote products. Using a forum to advertise is another good way, just put your link in the signature on your user and start posting on comments.
Another popular way to make money is with a subscription service. This can take time to build a good program but it is one of the best ways to make money online. It is pretty simple but finding the right information to provide can be challenging. You can buy products to use but you never know how many times it has been used already. Coming up with your own or paying someone to design something would be the best way to go about it.
If you got a popular blog big media advertisers will pay you to put their ads on your website or blog. So building a website or blog and just providing good information could make money one day, but it could take a while.
Pay Per Click ads is a good way to start making money right away, webmasters put ads on their website or blog and get paid when people click on the ads. There are several search advertisers doing this, like Google , Yahoo, Bidvertiser, and Adbrite to name a few. You do not buy nothing just click on ads and the webmaster gets a small amount. This allows the webmaster to keep the free content coming.
With all these ways to make money online it still is very challenging to make any money. There is so much free media on the website nobody wants to pay for things. They are always looking for free media. I also like getting free media, I do not like to pay for things you can get free. But sometimes you do not have to buy nothing to support your favorite blogs and websites. Now, every time I visit a website or blog that I like, I always find interesting ads and click on them to see what it is about. This is a good way to support a blog without buying anything. And if you are looking to buy a service, a product or software, you should buy it from the sites you get all your information from, if they have what you are in need of.
Just about all blogs will let you post a comment and leave a valuable link with your key word in it. Posting on these blogs will improve your SEO ranking and improve your traffic one day. Because the more links you have to your site the better it will be for you. Most blogs have to approve a comment before it appears on the site. Because if you do not you will get bombed with things like porn or some other useless stuff.
These are some tips to help everyone on the web have a better web experience and maybe make some money for all parties while having fun and learning new techniques.

Strange this post is totaly unrelated to what I was searching google for, but it was listed on the first page. I guess your doing something right if Google likes you enough to put you on the first page of a non related search.

However, once you have a strong understanding of how the system works, you may should think about trying out affiliate marketing to make even more cash.
